doesn't. All items are offered at the best prices possible. Most items are
sourced from the USA and Europe, some are remanufactured and are only available

respond quickest to email. Email gets results. Phone calls are problematic as I simply get too many to respond to each day. I was having my dog respond to phone messages for a while, but that wasn't working out either- as it turns out she is not good with abstract syntax structures. If you'd
like to just chat on the phone or order, no problem, but the best time to
call me is between 7pm-9pm Pacific Time and any reasonable hour Saturday or

Ordering and Payment
Online credit card ordering is easy and extremely secure (see next paragraph).
All orders are transmitted with the most advanced encryption available.
We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
New customers get orders shipped to the billing address only. PayPal
will work too if you want to go that route, it is also very safe. Phone
orders we can do, but you'd need to supply me with your particulars and
call me in the evening. You can also send a personal check or money order,
but that will delay shipping a minimum of 10 days from
the time I deposit it with my bank. All items subject to prior sale. Include
your email address with your snail mail order. Sorry, but all checks and
money orders must be drawn on a U.S. bank only. Canadian money orders
in U.S. dollars don't cut it, since I can't get to Canada easily to cash
it. If it's drawn on a U.S. bank, it's okay. Likewise, a U.S. Postal Money
Order (available in some countries) works but it must drawn on a U.S.

All items are new unless otherwise noted. Some items are one-of-a-kind
and are sold first come, first served.
You won't have any problems with the stuff we send. Everything is carefully
inspected prior to packaging. I only sell stuff that I would put on my
own vehicle or otherwise use myself. I only purchase items from reputable
dealers that know what quality is all about. Items including, but not
limited to, Crankshaft Kits, Transmission Conversion Kits, Transmissions
and Engines are all sold AS IS. Here's why- I can't install, prep, lubricate,
or otherwise fit these items for you and correctly installing them is
half the battle. Many parts are for display purposes only and should not
be used on a car for the road including aftermarket brake calipers. Likewise,
if you race, abuse, neglect or generally pound the snot out of your parts
and stuff breaks, well, I'd be sad to hear about that, but there is no
way JHPS can be held responsible. Note: many of the parts sold here are
NOS/used parts for a vintage automobile and are over 30 years old. Old
stuff can break, can cause injury and even death. It is incumbent on the
owner/enthusiast to weight the benefits of the inherent dangers of operating
a vintage vehicle compared to the safety provided, which is always, without
exception, sub-standard to that of a modern automobile. If you are not
comfortable with this inherent danger you should not purchase these parts
or own/operate a vintage vehicle.
Please open and inspect all parts when you accept
delivery. Anything damaged in shipping will need to be claimed with the
shipper that delivered your parts. Please contact JHPS so we can start
the process with the shipper on our end.
Returns (PLEASE READ)
All sales are final. A few items from the Boutique may
be returnable within 30 days (a 20% restocking fee applies)
if you pay for return shipping and include a note from your doctor, please
contact us first. Items NOT returnable include, Crank
Kits, Carburators, Camshafts, ALL Electrical Components, Transmissions, Engines and all items from the Warehouse
portion of the site. If
any used item is not as described, I will happily accept a return of the
item/part at no charge to the purchaser
for a full refund. We do want everyone
to be happy with their purchase and we'll make every effort to ensure
your satisfaction, but please keep in mind this isn't Nordstroms, we operate
on a very small margin. However, if you stop by JHPS World Headquarters
in Foothill Ranch, California, we will offer you a free espresso (Nordstrom's
would charge you $5.50 for inferior quality and you wouldn't get to see
any fun Jensen Healey stuff).
Most orders go out in 24 hours, some items the same day if you order before
noon Pacific Standard Time. UPS and USPS (Priority Mail) are used depending
on weight, we normally choose the most economical method. New customers
get orders shipped to the credit card billing address.
U.S.- we ship stuff outside the U.S. everyday, BUT, shipping
costs more and we need to pass that cost on as you might expect. WE ARE
HAPPY TO SHIP WORLD-WIDE, but we DO NOT ship any items to Africa, Burma and a few other dodgy places. If you live in Nigeria and have a
great proposition about some mutually beneficial financial transaction,
I probably won't be too keen on that.
the USA typically go US Postal International Priority Express and take 4-12 days to the U.K,
Europe, New Zealand and Australia, BUT in some circumstances orders can
be delayed up to 30 days. Why? No idea, maybe your postal or customs authorities
can tell you. It doesn't happen often, but be aware that it can happen.
Some items under 4 pounds total may go International Priority Mail (6-14 days),
depends what the items are. All the heavy, oversized items need to go
UPS International outside the USA.
I am the Packaging King, but if by some fluke, your merchandise does get
smooched by a steam roller in route, please make a claim with the shipper.
Once it leaves my hands I'm powerless to control its fate!
